The bowl fits just as well in the hall as in the bedroom to store small items such as keys or jewellery. The cork is not only beautiful to look at, it's also good for the environment. After the cork has been harvested, the tree begins to form new cork, a process that takes about 9 years. During this time, the tree absorbs 3-5 times more carbon dioxide than a tree whose cork has yet to be harvested.
